Within this context, I was responsible for developing the illustrations that shape the visual identity of the pieces. The work focused on translating classic elements of the western imaginary—such as symbols, landscapes, and cultural narratives—into a contemporary visual language, preserving their essence while proposing a renewed aesthetic approach.
The creative process was driven by a search for balance between tradition and reinvention. The illustrations were conceived not only as graphic elements but as extensions of the brand’s narrative, carrying a sense of time, memory, and organic imperfection. There is a deliberate intention to maintain a human, handcrafted quality in the linework, in contrast with the precision of digital tools.
The geographical duality between Jackson Hole and Malibu also plays a central role in the project. While Jackson Hole brings strength, ruggedness, and the legacy of American cowboy culture, Malibu introduces lightness, fluidity, and a more contemplative atmosphere. This contrast directly informs the tone of the imagery, creating a visual dialogue between mountain and ocean, density and openness.
The result is a visual identity that reflects Ranch Rich’s core vision: a brand that not only draws from distinct territories, but builds its own language by connecting heritage, art, and contemporary expression.
